About Ollie's Place

Ollie's Place is an other place in New York, New York. It is listed at 430 E 9th St, New York, NY 10009, which places it among the local businesses of New York that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ollie's Place at (212) 875-7538; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 118 reviews, which is a strong result for an other place in New York and suggests consistent service.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very nice cozy place for local rescue cats. If you love cats you can just pop right in and hang out with them. Staff there were super friendly.

If you’re an animal lover, Mighty Mutts / Ollie’s Place are two of the best organizations in any borough in New York City to support. The folks at Ollie’s Place care so deeply about cats. They want stable, permanent, loving homes for every single animal who comes through their doors, and the volunteers and staff are devoted to helping the cats find their forever homes. I adopted two cats from them in 2014 (Rorschach and Dorito, previously known as Sir Lancelot and Dash), and I will be forever grateful to Ollie’s for putting those fluffy friends into my life.

Cats are very playful and owner very friendly. Clean and cozy. We stopped by quickly because my daughter is slightly allergic but loves cats very much. She had lots of fun and definitely hope to be back!

God bless all the volunteers here and the work they do. I just had to put down my baby girl Moonie (AKA β€œHoot”) earlier today due to late stage kidney failure, which I only figured out about this morning, after taking her to the vet yesterday after a few sick β€œoff” days. Extremely sudden. There’s nothing I could have done. I only adopted her a year and a half ago :( The volunteers are super hands on and helpful even after I adopted her, specifically Jocelyn and Mike and Peri. Helping me pick out food for her, help if I needed some specific med or supplement, what vet to choose and what to ask the vet for, etc. Peri is a 10/10 pet sitter and I felt so safe leaving Moonie with her since she knows how to handle cats in case of emergency and give meds etc. And she already knew Moonie from volunteering at the shelter so they were buddies and she spent a long time with her during visits. Moonie was a feisty girl and hard to handle when it came to vet visits and medication, and volunteers would come help me give her gabapentin prior to an appointment, antibiotic shots when she had an infection, etc. Mike literally came every day for like 2 weeks to give her shots and she was nottt easy

Ollie’s Place opens from 12-5pm in the Weekend. They have lots of friendly and very sweet kitties. The cats are free roaming and welcome visitors to interact and socialize so they are more adoptable.
